独怜幽草涧边生，上有黄鹂深树鸣。
春潮带雨晚来急，野渡无人舟自横。
The West Ravine at Chuzhou

Along the ravine such lovable quiet weeds one sees；
High above， orioles are singing in the towering trees.
The spring tide comes hastily with the heavy rains at night；
At the wild ferry lies a boat crosswise with none in sight.
