Seeing you set off on the misty waters vast，
I wave you farewell， my eyes with tears gushing fast.
Like a bird you will fly away I don’t know where，
With the green mountain in vain facing me o’erthere.
In a boat on the Long River， you’ll sail far away
And see at sunset Five Lakes their spring charm display.
Who knows how I miss you and feel disconsolate
For thinking of white duckweeds here on the islet！
