2008年2月9曰，村民举手通过靳勒当选为石节子村村长JinLewaselectedastheheadofvillagethroughdemoncraticelectioninFeb。9th2008。
2007年是石节子村民无法忘怀的一年，靳女女，靳茂林，李保元，孙保林他们成了整个村民们谈论的对象，有点村星的味道；邻村的大爷大叔们，大娘大婶们看到他们时的那种眼神，别说有多么羡慕了，为什么看起来黑红黑红的脸，挂满了皱纹，满口的黄牙，跟自己比较起来没有什么两样，却可以不花一分钱，就坐了火车，就到了天安门，坐了飞机又到了国外，到了什么卡塞尔，还上了国外的电视节目？听说是因为他们村有个在北京当官的什么人，关系硬，后门大，要不怎么给了这么多的指标。其实，他们所说的这个人就是我。对于免费旅游的人来说，他们的心里头都很清楚，最该感谢的人是艾未未，没有未未的艺术，没有未未的《童话》，这辈子他们怎么可能与外界沟通呢？
今年的春节，赵半狄又带领他的熊猫团队，来到了石节子村，在几十年不遇的。
最寒冷的时候，他们来了，给村民拜年来了，为村民们奉献了一台温暖而热情的春节晚会。当他们要离开村庄的时候，老人们小孩们千叮咛万嘱咐熊猫人，
明年一定再来。我知道他们说这句话的意思，因为半狄为宁静的山村带来了激情，带来了欢声笑语。
两位艺术家，两次跟村庄有关的艺术活动，村民们把目光都转移到了我的身上他们认为我有本事，有能力，肯定能把这个村庄搞好。今年的村民大会，没有一丝的悬念，通过直选，大家举手表决，几乎一致通过，我当选为石节子村村长。
喜忧参半，喜的是村民们心中有我，没有抛弃我，我还是石节子村中的一员；
忧的是我该怎么办，没有准备，我如何是好，怎样履行自己的职责，怎样才能不让他们失望，如何改变穷乡僻壤，哪怕是一点点。真心希望各位读者朋友们给我提出宝贵的建议，为了我们的石节子村，为了我们的子孙后代，我代表村民们向你们表示衷心的感谢！
