Trees
I think that i shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth,s sweet flowing breastbreast n.胸部, 乳房, 胸怀, 心情vt.以胸对着, 对付;
A tree that looks at god all day,
And lifts her leafyleafy adj.叶状的, 多叶的, 阔叶的, 树叶茂盛的arms to pray;
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimatelyintimately adv.密切地 lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only god can make a tree.
吮吸着大地的甘露;
会有知更鸟砌巢居住;
一株树,白雪躺在她胸上;

陆离街道莽纵横;
Magnificence
Cloistered amid these austereaustere adj.

Dose the high builder dream in thee
With more of wonder and delight?
不知多少人在暗寒中劳动;
Meditation
I saw the stars against the summer night
Still trembling as they trembled when the light
First fell upon them from the further world.
I could not bend my proud humanity
To kneel before the cold immensity,
I,who had youth and love,I,who could know,-
They,-flotsam on the ethereal ebb and flow,
Dead things unmoved by immaterial fire
Of hope and anguish and divine desire.
They were not more omnipotent than I
They could not see and dream and change and die.
I could not bow before infinity,
The silent grandeur could not conquer me.
The Music Within
Life...What is it?
See it in the colors of autumn,
A gentle snowfall in winter,
A sudden shower in spring,
The radianceradiance n.光辉, 闪烁, 辐射率, 深粉红色 of a summer day.
Behold it in the laughter of the young and the old.
Know of it in a surge of hope,
The blessings that are bountifulbountiful adj.
What is life?
It is joy,awareness,
And the music within.
