theurgy. Before the battle kicked off, Kyiaz already got a wild goat to be
possessed with his spirit and wrapped his body with six layers of sheet iron by
means of performing spells. Naturally, the spearhead bounced from inside his
flesh all at once. The intense fight lasted for two days and neither could win.
In order to wipe the floor with Kulchoro, Kyiaz took out a long spear from
behind his back which was the war trophy of his father during the expedition
to Russia in the past. With the help of the long spear, Kyiaz began to gain the
upper hand in fight.
While fighting with Kyiaz, Kulchoro kept praying to the souls of Manas
and other dead warriors in the depth of his heart. He wished the souls of
them would help him get out of the predicament. All of a sudden, the souls of
Manas and the whole constellation of other valiant martyrs came into being
above the mountain top. After seeing such a spectacular sight, Kulchoro felt
he had been invigorated once again. The desire of winning the battle came
over him once again.
However, Kulchoro spared no effort in urging Kyiaz to put down his arms
and repent sincerely.
Unfortunately, Kyiaz considered what the dauntless warrior said to be
bullshit. Besides, he repeatedly thrust his spear at Kulchoro.
The dauntless warrior was completely disappointed with Kyiaz. He
mustered up his courage once again, jumping on Kyiaz and shouting the
slogan of “Manas.”
Kulchoro succeeded in grabbing the final chance. His spear hit the armpit
of Kyiaz who lost his axe because of the injury. Then the warrior spurred his
horse and dragged Kyiaz into a piece of marshland. The bumpy ground tore
the flesh of Kyiaz to shreds, getting his body to bleed all over. But it was too
early to make sure that the dauntless warrior had already pulled off the fight.
Kyiaz let out a loud cry all of a sudden, trying to make at Kulchoro. The
warrior dismounted from his horse and flung the vicious adversary into the

valley full of jagged rocks. What amazed people most was that Kyiaz stood up and tried to crawl out of the valley. The dauntless warrior threw the belligerent guy into the valley once again. The wallop even smashed some hard rocks into ashes.
In order to prevent Kyiaz from reviving, Kulchoro took out a black case accommodating five sparrows from the stomach of the wild goat which was possessed with the spirit of Kyiaz. He broke the neck of three sparrows but the rest got out of the case and flew into the nostrils of Totarow. As the horse neighed loudly, the badly mauled remains of Kyiaz were resuscitated right away. Kyiaz revived and went on to fight Kulchoro, who was extremely dejected to find that his rival had already resumed all his strength.
The fearless warrior felt downhearted simply because his cunning and wicked adversary had revived for a total of six times though he wiped the floor with him and then killed him for six times. “That was the last straw,” the warrior said to himself. With his confidence almost in tatters, Kulchoro resolved to make the last try. He cut down and kill the magical horse Totarow with one chop. Immediately after that, Kyiaz also fell down to the ground with a loud crash and could never come to his senses for ever.
Seitek came back to Talas in no time, executing Kenchoro, the evil plotter usurping the throne. He became the third khan in the family of Manas. With the help of his grandmother, mother and all other sages, the new khan found his father Semetei and enabled him to come round.
Seitek was as large as a mountain. Thus he did not need a battle steed. Instead, he always engaged in fight barefoot. Another fairy maiden called Kuial became his wife later on. After that, the couple took the responsibility of safeguarding the home country of Kyrgyz people and redeemed the lost glory of the family of Manas.
Seitek did not cling to the throne when he should leave. His son Kenenim succeeded to the throne after his abdication. Seitek left the imperial palace for remote mountains, leading a reclusive life. A legend showed that he became an immortal in the end. In fact, no one knew the exact age when he died later on. Whenever the descendants of Manas met with difficulties, he would go out to give a helping hand. If only he appeared every time, they would turn calamities into blessings.
