破山寺后禅院
常建
清晨入古寺，初日照高林。
曲径通幽处，禅房花木深。
山光悦鸟性，潭影空人心。
万籁此俱寂，惟闻钟磐音。
A Visit to the Rear Buddha Hall of the Broken Hill Temple
Chang Jian
I enter the old temple in the early morning.
Shining o’er the high woods is the sun just rising.
The zigzag path leads to a recess， where one sees
The Meditation Room amidst dense flowers and trees.
To the birds’ nature appeals the hill scenery，
And the pool shadow makes one feel all is empty.
Here silence reigns supremely and quiet is everything，
Except the bell and the chime stone that are striking.
