相见时难别亦难,东风无力百花残。
春蚕到死丝方尽,蜡炬成灰泪始干。
晓镜但愁云鬓改,夜吟应觉月光寒。
蓬山此去无多路,青鸟殷勤为探看。

To meet is very difficult, to part is not less so,
The eastern wind being weak, flowers wither and cease to grow.
The spring silkworm keeps on spinning its silk till it is dead;
Only burned to ashes, will the candle no more tears shed.
At dawn, she might see in the glass if gray hair comes in sight;
At night, she might feel chilly while I chant in the moonlight.
Her fairy mountain of a place not far from here must be;
Would the good blue-bird be kind enough to see her for me?
