It being fine， there’re no waves or mists about the Parrot Sand Bar.
I， a stranger here， think the more of you， my dear friend who’s afar.
In the setting sun over Hankou， birds are seen homewards to fly；
The autumn waters of the Dongting Lake extend far to the sky.
In the cold， from a lonely town by the mountain bugle notes rise；
At night， I moor my boat by the riverside where a watch tower lies.
Concerned o’er the Han state， Jia Yi submitted to the crown a
statement.
Hence his exile to Changsha； and for him people e’er showed
lament.
