客去波平槛，蝉休露满枝。
永怀当此节，倚立自移时。
北斗兼春远，南陵寓使迟。
天涯占梦数，疑误有新知。

When my guest left， the river swelled to the railing；
Now on the dewy branches cicadas stop wailing.
I can’t help thinking of him right at this moment，
And for hours I stand， not making any movement.
The North Star and spring are both far away from me；
For Nanling messages to reach here， how long it’ll be.
Far from him， I’ve oft divined by explaining dreams；
He may have a new friend and forget me， it seems.
