空山新雨后，天气晚来秋。
明月松间照，清泉石上流。
竹喧归浣女，莲动下渔舟。
随意春芳歇，王孙自可留。

The forlorn mountain has just been rinsed by a rain
That brings the evening weather under autumn’s reign.
Among the pines the moon is shedding its bright beams；
O’er the rocks the clear water of the fountain streams.
Bamboo groves get noisy with washer-girls homebound
And lotus leaves sway at fishing-boats’ rowing round.
The spring fragrant flowers here may have faded at will，
And yet to stay in this place is my desire still.
