The sport is a strictly female preserve① and is comprised of five 1min 30sec musically accompanied routines in the following disciplines： hoop， rope， clubs， ball and ribbon②.
Individual Event
Organizers choose four of the five disciplines to be competed at a particular event. 24 gymnasts go into a qualifying round， with a narrowed field of ten then disputing③ the final.
Group Event
Each team performs twice. First time out all five of them use the same prop④， in the second a mix of two props are used.
Scores
There are three juries. The 1st marks the technique， the 2nd artistic impression and the 3rd execution⑤. The three marks are then tallied to give a final score.

个人项目
主办方从五套规定项目中选出四套作为比赛的竞赛项目。有24名体操选手参加资格赛，而胜出的10人随后将参加最后的角逐。
集体项目
各支代表队都表演两次。第一轮，五名选手全部使用相同的器械，而在第二轮中则混合使用两种不同的器械。
得分
裁判员共有三名。第一个为技术值评分，第二个为艺术值评分，而第三个则为完成值评分。随后将这三项评分相加，算出最后得分。
