第15章 SELECT PARAGRAPHS

1.give thanks untthe Lord;call upon his name;make known his deeds among the people. Sing unthim;sing psalms unthim;talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name;let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord. Remember his marvelous1 works that he hath done;his wonders,and the judgments of his mouth.

2.Lord,our Lord,how excellent is thy name in all the earth! whhast set thy glory above the heavens. When I consider thy heavens,the work of thy fingers;the moon and the stars which thou hast ordained2;what is man,that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man,that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels,and hast crowned him with glory and honor. Thou madest him thave dominion3 over the work of thy hands;thou hast put all things under his feet. Lord,our Lord,how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

3.I will say of the Lord,He is my refuge and my fortress,my God;in him will I trust. Because he hath set his love upon me,therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high,because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me,and I will answer him;I will be with him in trouble;I will deliver him,and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him,and show him my salvation.

4.come,let us sing untthe Lord,let us heartily rejoice in1Marvelous,wonderful.

2Ordained,appointed,established. 3Dominion. supreme power.the strength of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving,and show ourselves glad in him with psalms. For the Lord is a great God,and a great King above all gods. worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness;let the whole earth stand in awe of him. For he cometh,for he cometh,tjudge the earth;and with righteousness tjudge the world,and the people with his truth.

5.Oh that men would praise the Lordˊfor his goodness,and for his wonderful works tthe children of men! They that gdown tthe sea in ships,that dbusiness in great waters;these see the works of the Lord,andhis wonders in the deep. For he commandeth,and raiseth the stormy wind,which lifteth up the waves thereof. They mount up tthe heaven;they gdown again tthe depths;their soul is melted because of trouble;they reel tand fro,and stagger like a drunken man,and are at their wit’s end. Then they cry untthe Lord in their trouble,and he bringeth them out of their distresses. He maketh the storm a calm,sthat the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they be quiet;she bringeth them unttheir desired haven1. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness,and for his wonderful works tthe children of men!

6.The Lord is my shepherd;I shall not want. He maketh me tlie down in green pastures;he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul;he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name‘s sake. Yea,though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I will fear nevil;for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff,they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;thou anointest my head with oil;my cup runneth over. Surely,goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
